dsc02527dsc02507Winter outfits brings with it a myriad of challenges. How do you look stylish when you are layered up and completely covered? You’ve landed on the page that will be your resource for stylish winter dressing.

Sweaters aren’t the only winter essentials that can keep you warm. We love scarves!

Let’s be honest: Getting dressed in the dead of winter is no easy feat when the aim is to stay warm and look cool. Yet we often click through our favorite style blogs only to realize that it is possible as evidenced by the scores of stylish ladies who manage to appear seasonally appropriate and chic on a daily basis.

Scarves: Seriously? Besides the fact that they make you feel as if you’re still in the comfort of your warm cozy bed when in fact you’re out in the blizzard cold and they can always make and never break an outfit.

We really see no point in taking this discussion further as in trying to convince anyone of how much they’d actually need a scarf. Scarves are the one thing everyone is wearing and resorting to if not for sartorial reasons hidden behind these fluffy massive winter accessories then for the need to stay warm.

WIDE LEG PANTS

A few months ago we wouldn’t have looked at these pants twice but now we absolutely love them. They are not only comfortable and easy to wear but they are a perfect day-to-night option too.

Charged with the ability to skim over curvy hips and lengthen legs when paired with heels, it’s no wonder that the street style set wants to wear wide-leg pants all year round.
So if you too are feeling sick of your skinny jeans take inspiration from our following outfit that prove wide pants are the way to go this winter.

Fashion bloggers are pairing cropped wide-leg pants with flat loafers and boots while longer ground-grazing styles are looking their best over high heel, close-toe ankle boots. We kinda decided to style these pants in a more classy look combinded with some sporty accessoires.

They elongate legs, make a tiny waist, correct body types and proportions…

This trousers style is after all 70’s inspired so the Charlie’s Angles look (think office) is kinda cool. Structured long suit style wide leg high waisted pants in solid yet muted colors (browns, greens, purples) that are super fitted on the waist and bum and then fall straight along the leg as if they’re made of a super heavy fabric. Wide leg pants are a thing of the 70’s, so that may be the reason why it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

For a casual style don simple t-shirts tucked in and for work or more polished looks go for pussy-bow inspired tops.

DIY CHRISTMAS GIFT JARS

While we do find ourself shopping for gifts like crazy when the holidays come around, we must admit that we craft a good portion of the gifts we give. Handmade gifts are more personal and the fact that they cannot be found in a store makes them special. That’s why we think that these jars are a great christmas gift idea! So if you have still no idea what to give as a present this year get inspired at these jars.

Here are the jars we made:

The first one is filled with more sugary stuff like kakao, chocolate, cereals, chocolate cornflakes or sugar.

The smaller jar is filled with corn, sunflower seeds, noodles, peppercorns and rice.

Once you’ve layered the ingredients into a jar, tie it off with a bow if you want.

It’s your choice which ingredients you want to lay into the jar.

You have yourself a lovely holiday gift that’s perfect for family, friends, or even co-workers…

Happy Holidays!

YOUNG BUSINESS

We sometimes dream about a life in another country, in another city for example New York City. A city where every season looks incredible rather it’s summer or winter. Everyone knows NYC from movies or pictures. It is the city of modernity. That’s why we have chosen that look for you: Young Business. The outfit fits perfectly into the chic city street style or what do you think? The dress and the long vest reflect the typical NYC…exeptional and modern.

Julia: STORYTIME!

I got this dress in New York City two years ago. It was in October shortly before Halloween. My parents and I went there for 10 days. One day I begged my parents to go to SoHo, the New York Fashion District. I wanted to go to all these amazing shops all people were talking about: American Apparel, Brandy Melville, Topshop, Urban Outfitters, … We got off the subway and had know idea which direction the district was. After literally 30 minutes of searching for the right street we finally found it and I was so happy! I think my first shop was Brandy Melville and I grabbed everything that seemed cute which was almost everything. After I’ve got all my big shopping bags I went to Topshop. My first time there! The most suprising thing were the shop assistants. Their fashion style was so inspiring. I crawl through every clothes rack and found this super pretty dress! I already saw it on other bloggers on social media before. My mom was more than excited about the dress so I bought it. I think it was a successfull shopping tour!

BLACK CHOCKER V NECK SWEATER

dsc02480dsc02491dsc02604dsc02585dsc02593dsc02481dsc02645dsc02646dsc02648dsc02677

Nothing is better than a cozy and comfortable fall sweater like this one. The pullover has two highlights. Like the name is saying it has a v neck and a chocker. We specially love the zipper on the elbow. You can just open it if you like. We chose a normal jeans because we wanted to focus on the sweater. “Less is more” is a guiding principle we followed.

The pullover has a more fancy style that may not everyone likes.

Look forward to our next post! We will try to post more. Have a nice day!
